Fabulous location with a view of the opera and a large number of table outside as well as inside. We had brilliant waiters who were very efficient and multilingual. Croissants were excellent as was the coffee and the croque was delicious as was the pear tart. You pay a bit more for the view but, hey, if you want to eat in a dingy backstreet, that’s your choice.

This classic cafe is located on Place de la Comédie, next to the large oxidized head statue by sculptor Jaume Plensa. There is comfortable seating inside, but the outside seating provides much to see & was also very comfortable under the umbrellas! Our food was hot & delicious and was served quickly. This was important because we had a tour to meet up with (just around the corner at the tourist office). The bathrooms, located downstairs had character, were clean and were well guarded!

A leisurely Saturday evening meal here watching the world go by. I had the Tartare de Boeuf and it was very tasty, especially washed down nicely with a glass of Bordeaux Red and of course some water! Service was lovely. I was served by the lovely and very attentive, Maxence who made me feel at ease trying to make my order in French. I was very impressed with how observant he was too - I dropped my knife part way through the meal and within seconds he had replaced it with a new one. All the servers were jolly too. Excellent service. Thank you.

The most bougie hotdog I’ve ever seen. Looks, 11 out of 10. Taste, 8.5 of 10. Most definitely better items on the menu I should have tried but was craving for something heavily processed ;), and it did not disappoint.

Stumbled across this awesome cafe! We have travelled all around Paris and France and this would have been by far the best Petit Dejeuner (omelette, croissant and coffee)! Great service and atmosphere

Location was wonderful, very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful helpful staff made this one of the best meals of our trip. I had the Croque Madame and my partner had the Quiche of the day with side salad. She couldn't stop raving about the quiche which was made with Leeks and absolutely delicious. The dressing was simple and light yet so flavorful. This location was perfect for people watching and relaxing from the hustle and bustle going on around you. We hope to go back in the future for sure!

We spend most summers in Bordeaux and this is our favorite cafe to just sit, take a break, and people watch! The food is excellent, the wait staff is very kind, and you have a view of the stunning architecture of the square and everything going on. Highly recommend!
